Our Story

Established in October 2021, we created Junn Hair as a specialist hair-care sanctuary at the foot of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Meaning “pure” in Japanese, our vision was to design a space that felt uncluttered, organic and serene, and helped guests to renew a sense of nourishment and clarity.

Drawing on traditional Japanese architecture and the soft structures found in Charlotte Taylor’s Canyon House we envisioned our studio to embody fluid forms, open spaces and light-filled interiors, ultimately embracing the principles of minimalist design. Offering an ideal environment for crafting self-expression, our goal is now to continue developing confidence through hairstyling in the inspiring surrounds of our newly-built studio.
